A family business
We are an independent family business made up of woodworkers and creatives based in St Margarets, south west London. Established in 2005 by Nigel and Kim Hare, we began selling bespoke window shutters, but have since expanded our team and our range of products.
Over the years, we have built up considerable expertise having served thousands of customers in and around South West London. We enjoy working with our customers to provide them with unique solutions, building trust and providing them with an excellent service.
Collectively, we share a strong passion for furniture, interior design and craftsmanship which we believe is evident in our work.

32 Crown Road
Our family have been based in St Margarets for over 100 years having worked from 32 Crown Rd, since 1896. Back then, it was Hare’s Bakery which was founded by Nigel’s great grandfather Jiminy Hare.
The bakery continued for many years with three generations involved in the running of the business, including Nigel’s father Brian.
Later in 2005 Nigel and Kim decided to start their own company selling window shutters and blinds and the team has since grown to involve more members of the family.
We feel grateful to have such strong ties to this area and we enjoy continuing our family’s story through our work.
